Image doesn’t show after cutting from PSD / JPEG in IE6

Posted by jhalak on April 28, 2009

Problem: In most cased you are delivered a PSD file to convert it to HTML. After slicing you find that the images that you cut is working in all browsers but not in IE6.

Cause: The image is in CMYK mode.

Solution: Change the mode to RGB. To do it go to: image > mode and then select RGB Color.

Photoshop dosn’t shows jpeg extension in “save as” option / Can’t save image in jpeg extension in photoshop

That means the image is not in RGB color mode. To show those extensions click –> image->mode->RGB Color. Now you can see the other extensions like jpeg, gif, etc. rather than psd or rtf after clicking save as.
